The Corpus Fund is presently Rs. 425.00 crores and during the 2010 - 2011 it will be Rs. 550 and by 2011 - 2012 Rs. 700 crores. In 2010 – 2011, the Corpus Fund interest income will be near about Rs. 37 crores only.
The candidate for Maulana Azad National Scholarship 2010 can apply with the following criteria:
Maulana Azad Education Foundation provides scholarship of Rs. 12,000 to each 6,000 of class XI and 6,000 of class XII of meritorious girl students that belong to National minorities such as Sikh, Christian, Buddhist and Parsi and in 2010 passed class X with at least 55% marks and taken regular admission in Class 11th and their family income is less than Rs. 1.00 lakh.
New MAEF Scholarship 2010 application forms list of last year's Scholarship holders, state wise quota all their terms and conditions you can get on the MAEF website www.maef.nic.in and free of cost the MAEF Scholarship application form can be downloaded. The MAEF Scholarship application forms can be purchased from the office of the Foundation at New Delhi as well as with State Government and photocopy of the forms can be used freely.
Filled application for MAEF Scholarship 2010 along with necessary enclosures can be sent by post, courier and personally at The Secretary, Maulana Azad Education Foundation, Social Justice Service Centre, Chelmsford Road, New Delhi - 110 055.
By 31st August, 2010 the application of MAEF Scholarship 2010 must be received in the office and the incomplete application received after the due date would be rejected.
The quota fixed for each state is based on minority population and strictly based on the marks obtained in 10th Class and no approval of any State or authority is required.
The choosen candidate gets the scholarship amount by bank transfer / Cheque.
Anyone has to pay nothing because there is no charge for application form or for any other service.
There is no other branch or authorised offices and agency of The Maulana Azad Education Foundation anywhere in India.
